Easy Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs
This recipe is an easy favorite around here.
Minimal ingredients, maximum flavor.
Totally my kind of dinner!
I’ll explain the recipe step by step here, and then when you get to the bottom you’ll find the recipe in printable form so you won’t have to scroll up and down a million times while you’re making it.

When I said this has minimal ingredients, I seriously wasn’t joking.
All you’ll need is:
3 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup of Dijon mustard
1/2 cup of honey
4 cloves of garlic
salt & pepper to taste
First, combine all of your ingredients except the chicken in a large bowl.
Stir until everything is mixed together really well.
Salt & pepper your chicken thighs.
Place chicken thighs in the bowl and stir it around until the chicken is thoroughly coated in honey-mustardy-garlicky goodness.
Cover and place in refrigerator for an hour.
Or feel free to skip that part if you’re in a hurry, the chicken will still be delicious.
Preheat grill, or grill pan, or cast iron skillet (I like to keep my options open) over medium heat.
Cook chicken for 7 minutes on one side (or until chicken easily releases without sticking) and about 5 min on the other.
and for about 5 min on the other side.
Chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Side note: chicken is actually safe to eat at 165 degrees F, but chicken thighs, in particular, are much too chewy when I take them off at that temp. Perfection is reached at 175 degrees in my opinion!

I used an indoor grill pan for this recipe. It would work just as well in a heavy bottomed pan such as a cast iron skillet, you just won't get the pretty grill marks.
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

- 4 cloves minced garlic
Cover and place the bowl in the refrigerator for an hour, or feel free to skip that part if you're in a hurry. It will still be delicious!
Grill over medium heat for 7 minutes on the first side (or until chicken releases from grates or pan easily) and about 5 minutes on the other side.
The chicken is done when thighs reach an internal temperature of 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
